We pride ourselves on breeding fresh livefood daily at our Essex farm, supporting a vibrant and unique pet community. As our e-commerce presence, Livefoods Direct, continues its rapid growth, we are seeking a commercially astute Digital Trading Manager to join our dynamic team.
Reporting directly to the Head of E-commerce, you will be the driving force behind our on-site commercial performance. This pivotal role encompasses conversion rate optimisation (CRO), search engine optimisation (SEO), strategic merchandising, compelling website content, and robust CRM initiatives. Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Own and execute the Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) roadmap, including running A/B tests on our WooCommerce platform.
- Drive on-site SEO strategy, continuously improving rankings for high-volume target keywords to enhance organic visibility.
- Manage comprehensive merchandising efforts, including category ordering, strategic cross-sells, bundle creation, and promotional campaigns.
- Set up and meticulously optimise Product Detail Pages (PDPs) across all priority SKUs to maximize engagement and conversion.
- Create, prepare, and schedule engaging website content, including content specifically tailored for email campaigns.
- Oversee Klaviyo campaigns and flows, actively working to grow email's share of total revenue.
- Track and report on key performance indicators such as conversion rate, Average Order Value (AOV), CRM revenue, keyword rankings, PDP quality, and test throughput.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Essential:
- Proven hands-on WooCommerce experience.
- Demonstrable experience in CRO and A/B testing methodologies.
- Strong knowledge and practical application of on-site SEO best practices.
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Product Detail Pages (PDPs).
- Proficiency in web content management and scheduling.
- Experience with Klaviyo or an equivalent CRM/email marketing platform.
- Desirable:
- Knowledge of wild birds, animals, or reptiles.
- Familiarity with the livefood industry.
