We are seeking an experienced HubSpot Developer to take full ownership of the technical side of our HubSpot ecosystem. This is a pivotal, hands-on role for a strategic thinker who can translate complex business requirements into scalable, robust HubSpot solutions. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for all things HubSpot, working across integrations, automation, CRM architecture, reporting, and data quality. You'll also manage ongoing HubSpot administration, collaborating closely with our sales, operations, and leadership teams to drive efficiency and impact across the organization.
This isn't just an administrator role; it's for someone who can look at a business problem, grasp the process and data requirements, and determine the optimal way to build solutions within—or around—HubSpot. You should be comfortable navigating between CRM architecture, APIs, automation, reporting, data management, troubleshooting, and providing essential user support.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design and build HubSpot solutions utilizing custom objects, properties, pipelines, workflows, and lists.
- Develop and maintain API integrations between HubSpot and various external platforms.
- Build custom-coded workflow actions, webhooks, and advanced automations using HubSpot Operations Hub.
- Integrate HubSpot with critical business systems, including reporting tools, AI assistants, and data-enrichment platforms.
- Construct comprehensive dashboards and custom reports for leadership, sales, and revenue teams.
- Maintain high CRM data quality through strategic deduplication, property standardization, segmentation, and database cleanup initiatives.
- Provide day-to-day HubSpot administration, managing fields, pipelines, permissions, and overall configuration.
- Troubleshoot complex technical HubSpot issues and recommend scalable, long-term solutions.
- Document all integrations, workflows, processes, and system configurations thoroughly.
- Train and support internal users, including non-technical stakeholders, ensuring effective adoption and utilization.
Requirements & Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on HubSpot development or advanced HubSpot administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of HubSpot APIs, CRM APIs, webhooks, custom objects, and workflows.
- Proficiency with JavaScript and/or Python.
- Demonstrated experience building HubSpot dashboards and custom reports.
- Strong understanding of CRM architecture, databases, and data hygiene best practices.
- Ability to effectively translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable explaining technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working remotely and collaborating asynchronously with a US-based team.
- Ability to work or maintain significant overlap with Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours.

- Experience integrating Claude, OpenAI, or other AI tools with CRM data.
- Experience with Zapier, Make, SQL, or similar automation/data tools.
