We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Software Engineer / Full-Stack Developer to join our dynamic team in Plano, TX. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing robust, scalable, and maintainable full-stack features using cutting-edge technologies. Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Design, develop, and implement high-quality, maintainable, and scalable full-stack features using Node.js, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Develop robust RESTful APIs using Node.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Design, Product, QA, and Lead Engineers, to understand requirements and deliver software on time and within budget.
- Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and thoroughly testable code.
- Actively participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development.
- Research complex technical issues and provide clear, actionable paths to resolution, leveraging strong analytical skills.
- Attend work as scheduled on a consistent and regular basis, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to overall team success.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any certification or license as required by law or company policy.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in software development.
- 2+ years of experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and messaging systems like Kafka.
- Strong foundational knowledge of programming languages, development methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficiency in modern web technologies including React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, HTML/CSS, and Bash.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with UI/UX designers and implementing specifications across various browsers.
- Proven experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and JSON.
- In-depth knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and SQL.
- Experience working within Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with conducting code reviews and mentoring junior team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and concise technical discussions.
- Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Working knowledge of DevOps practices and principles.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing frameworks.
