Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead social strategy and activation across a diverse portfolio of client accounts.
- Build insight-led, culturally relevant channel strategies for both organic and paid social initiatives.
- Develop innovative content ideas that perform natively across various platforms, encompassing earned, owned, and paid channels.
- Integrate social media seamlessly into wider brand and sponsorship campaigns, effectively translating rights and intellectual property into compelling social-led activations.
- Lead paid social planning, optimization, and reporting, collaborating closely with performance teams.
- Utilize data and insights to continuously shape strategy and enhance content performance.
- Oversee social workstreams from initial strategy development through to final execution.
- Provide clear direction and guidance to internal teams, external creators, and agency partners.
- Manage stakeholders confidently and effectively at all levels.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Significant experience in pitching and delivering campaigns across organic and paid social, including influencer marketing, ideally within an agency environment.
- A strong background in sponsorship or brand activation is a significant advantage, coupled with an understanding of how social integrates into broader rights and partnership campaigns.
- Deep understanding of platform behaviors, evolving formats, and current social media trends.
- Strong instinct for what performs effectively across social, earned, owned, and paid channels.
- Proven experience in integrating social media into wider brand or sponsorship campaigns.
- Comfortable using data and insights to inform strategy and drive content improvements.
- A clear, confident communicator capable of leading teams and managing stakeholders at all levels.
