Role Overview & Duties
B2B & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER Maki Nori and Maki & Ramen | London | £36-40,000 + £24k Potential Bonus | Full Time 45 Hour Contract
The Role:
Reports to: Marketing Director
You’ll own Maki Nori’s social channels and the Maki & Ramen event program. You’ll support UK-wide partnership activities and the wider Maki & Ramen content team.
The split is roughly 30% B2B Partnerships and 70% Maki Nori social media. This will flex week to week around the event diary.
Base: London.
Our Branches in London: [Our head office is based in Edinburgh, so you’ll be working hybrid, allowing you to work from home, from cafes, and mainly from the branches.]
Hours: 45 hours per week, including regular late nights on event days and some weekend social media maintenance.

The Role:
This dual role of B2B and Social Media Management involves working closely with our Content Manager at Maki & Ramen. You’ll be the face of both brands. Maki Nori Social Media Manager [70% of the time]
- Content Creation: We post once a day on Instagram and TikTok, so this output is high.
- Influencer Management: Sourcing and booking influencers into our existing structure.
- Editing Content & Scheduling: Editing content and scheduling social media posts.
- Social Media Maintenance: Responding to messages, comments, and ensuring the Linktree is set up correctly.
- Reporting on Overall Social Media Performance: Reporting on the overall performance of our social media channels.
- Ownership over Partnerships: Owning partnerships and working closely with the Marketing Director on brand direction.
Maki & Ramen B2B Manager [30% of the time]
- Outreaching to Clients: Reaching out to clients to showcase our restaurants across the UK as event spaces.
- Harnessing Relationships with Corporate Clients: Leveraging relationships with corporate clients to drive revenue and footfall to our branches.
- Measured on: Revenue brought into the business and the number of corporate bookings per month.
- Reporting Weekly: Reporting weekly on each partnership, revenue brought in, budget managed, and covers to site.
- Assisting with Events Planning: Assisting with event planning on new Maki & Ramen branch openings, focusing on the Southern Evenings.
How we’ll measure the role:
- Tailored Social Media Metrics:
- Revenue and Covers in Maki Nori based on social media presence.
- Revenue across the Maki & Ramen group: Allocated to B2B Partnerships brought in.
- Covers per site per month: Allocated to B2B Partnerships brought in.
- Amount of partnerships gained week on week.
What we’re looking for:
- Essential: Two to five years’ experience in events, social media, or a combined role.
- Confident with short-form video content and what performs well on TikTok and Instagram Reels.
